Laura Rothenberg (Brown university student who became famous after writing her book)

Alice Martineau (British model and singer)

Frankie Abernathy (reality tv star on Mtv's Real World)

Gregory Lemarchal (Singer who won Star Academy France 2004...which is the equivalent of American Idol)

Wonder what these 4 people have in common:

1. They are all under the age of 25.

2.They are all dead.

3.They all died of the same disease

Yeah...so sad...they are all dead from cystic fibrosis...it's a hereditary (meaning your're born with it)and fatal respiratory disease which fills your lungs with mucus making you unable to breathe...unless u seek frequent medical attention to control it...the average lifespan for people who have it is about 30 years i think...
people only started taking notice of it only after Celine Dion's niece Karine Menard died from it at age 16 in the late 90's...and more recently in Europe since the death of the aforementioned French singer in 2007 made people more aware coz it's like Kelly Clarkson or David Cook suddenly dying...yea...i know it's unfair...in reality so many ppl have died frm this disease over the years but ppl only start noticing it when famous ppl die...me included...im sorry to say
well i just want to say...that we should never say our life is terrible...coz what could be more terrible than being these ppl who are literally born to die...
u should listen to the French singer's music some time...even though his lungs is filled with mucus...his voice is amazing...defintely on the same par as any American Idol contestant...and let's not forget that he's disadvantaged =P
